Can I visit Luxury Wigs Outlet without an appointment?
No. Luxury Wigs Outlet is a private, appointment-only showroom in Edgewater, New Jersey. All showroom visits require an appointment so each client has dedicated time to privately explore and try on available options. First-time appointments are reserved online. Clients coming back for more may call to schedule all future appointments.

Do I need an appointment if I just want to browse the store?
Yes. To ensure uninterrupted service, we operate by appointment only. Appointments are required for all visits, including browsing. In addition to shopping, we provide a wide range of in-house services such as customizing hairpieces, hairpiece spa treatments, washing, styling, repairs, and ongoing maintenance.
Is there a reservation fee for first-time appointments?
Yes. A one-time, non-refundable $25 Reservation Fee is required for first-time appointments. Your private appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. The fee is credited toward your purchase if you decide to purchase. If you don’t purchase, it remains as a credit. What should I do before my appointment for the best fitting experience?
Please arrive with your hair and scalp clean and free of product buildup. If you have a considerable amount of natural hair, please have it braided, wrapped, or as flat as possible before your visit. This helps provide the best fitting experience when trying on hairpieces and helps us maintain a clean, sanitary environment for everyone.
What happens after I book/reserve my appointment?
Once your appointment is reserved, you’ll receive a confirmation text message or email, typically during our business hours, Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Your confirmation will include your appointment date, time, location and any important instructions for your visit.
Should I arrive early for my appointment?
No. Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time. Because each appointment is private and reserved specifically for that client, we may not be able to accommodate early arrivals or provide access to the showroom before your scheduled time.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes. You are welcome to bring one guest to your scheduled appointment.
What if I or my guest is feeling sick?
Please reschedule your appointment if you or your guest is feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms such as coughing or sneezing. We want to maintain a comfortable and respectful environment for all of our guests.

Luxury Wigs Outlet is located on River Road between Hilliard Avenue and Dempsey Avenue.
Street parking is available along Dempsey Avenue and River Road near the Chase Bank intersection. Additional parking is available one block away near Whole Foods on Hilliard Avenue. Municipal parking is also available in the Whole Foods parking lot.

Can I find more hairpieces in the showroom than what’s shown online?
Yes. Our private Edgewater showroom offers a much larger ready-to-wear selection than what is currently displayed on our website, including wigs, hair toppers, hair systems, bangs, ponytails and other hairpieces. During your appointment, you can privately explore different options, compare hair types, colors, lengths and coverage, and try-on pieces that interest you.
What is the difference between wigs, hair toppers and hair systems?
Wigs provide full head coverage. Hair toppers and hair systems provide varying levels of coverage and can be used for thinning hair, bald spots, hair loss or simply to add fullness and coverage where desired.
Are hair toppers and hair systems only for people experiencing hair loss?
No. While they are excellent options for thinning hair, bald spots and hair loss, they may also be worn by people who simply want more fullness, coverage or a different look without wearing a traditional wig.
How are your hairpieces attached?
Attachment options vary depending on the hairpiece and its construction. Options may include clips, combs, adjustable drawstrings, tape, adhesives, as well as clipless and glueless attachment methods. During your appointment, we’ll help you explore the options that best suit your needs and preferences.
Will I need to have my hairpiece professionally reapplied?
No. Our hairpieces are designed for easy everyday wear and can be applied and removed at home. We’ll show you how to comfortably wear and care for the piece you select.
What types of 100% human hair do you carry?
Our selection includes European Hair, Remy Hair, Virgin Hair and other 100% human hair options. Selection varies by texture, density, length and construction. During your appointment, we can help you determine which option best suits your desired look, lifestyle and maintenance preferences.
HOW DO YOUR HAIR TYPES DIFFER?
1. 100% Human Hair | Highest Grade
Real, natural human hair offering the greatest styling versatility and a highly natural look and feel. 100% Human hair may be heat styled, dyed, and bleached. With proper care, it can also provide significantly longer wear.
2. Luxury Blend Hair | Closely Mimics 100% Human Hair
A higher proportion of natural human hair combined with quality synthetic fibers. Luxury Blend hair offers excellent realism, durability and a longer lifespan than standard Blend Hair, making it a beautiful alternative to 100% human hair.
3. Blend Hair | Mid Grade
A combination of human hair and synthetic fibers with a lower proportion of human hair than our Luxury Blend. Blend Hair is low maintenance and typically returns to its original style after washing. It is best suited for occasional or shorter term wear and should only be heat styled at low temperatures. It cannot be dyed or bleached.

What is the price range for Luxury Wigs Outlet products?
We carry luxury wigs and hair toppers at outlet prices, from affordable finds to high-end selections, at our private showroom in Edgewater, New Jersey. Our hairpieces generally range from $31 to $6,500, depending on hair type, construction, design and level of customization. Because many of our hairpieces are made in house, pricing may vary based on material costs. When we are able to source materials at a lower price, we pass those savings along to our clients.
Can an off the shelf hairpiece be customized?
Yes. Luxury Wigs Outlet is a private outlet showroom where beautiful, natural looking, ready to wear hairpieces are sold directly off the shelf from our in store selection. Each piece is available for purchase in the style in which it is presented. If you find a piece you love, you can purchase it on the spot and receive complimentary cutting and styling at the time of purchase, so you can take it home the same time looking and feeling your best. Any additional customization is available for an additional fee.
Can Luxury Wigs Outlet make a custom wig or hairpiece for me?
At this time, we are not accepting custom orders for wigs, hair toppers or hair systems.

Are all products included when Luxury Wigs Outlet has a sale?
No. Sale pricing applies only to the products specifically included in each promotion. Certain collections or products may be excluded.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Apple Pay.
A 3% processing fee applies to credit card transactions.
Why do I need identification when paying by card?
For card transactions, a valid government issued photo ID is required. The name on the identification must match the name on the payment card presented.
Do you offer layaway?
Yes. A 50% deposit is required to reserve an item, with the remaining balance due within 7 business days.
Layaway deposits are non refundable but may be transferred toward another purchase or issued as store credit.
RETURNS
What is the return policy for in-store purchases?
Due to the personal and hygienic nature of our products, all in store purchases are final sale.
We do not accept returns or exchanges on products purchased in our showroom.
INSURANCE
Does Luxury Wigs Outlet accept insurance?
No. Luxury Wigs Outlet do not accept insurance and only provide your standard purchase receipt at checkout. We do not provide or fill out any additional medical documentation, forms, or specialized invoices. We highly advise checking with your insurance provider before your visit to see if they will accept your standard sales receipt for your claim.
MAINTENANCE & CARE
Does Luxury Wigs Outlet offer maintenance services?
Yes. We offer a variety of maintenance and customization services for hairpieces purchased from Luxury Wigs Outlet. Services may include cleaning, washing, styling, adding or thinning hair, installing or replacing adjustable straps, clips or combs, and certain repairs.
Do you provide same day hairpiece maintenance?
In many cases, yes. Hairpieces dropped off by 1:00 PM may be ready for pickup as early as 6:45 PM, depending on the service required. More complex repairs or modifications may require additional time and can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks.
How long do your wigs or hairpieces last?
There is no set lifespan for a wig or hairpiece. How long it lasts depends greatly on how it is handled, cared for and maintained. Just like biological hair, wigs and hairpieces can experience shedding, dryness, tangling, damage and general wear over time.
Regular professional maintenance by Luxury Wigs Outlet, including washing, conditioning, repairs and replacing lost hair when necessary, can help keep your hairpiece looking its best and extend its life for years. If you plan to keep your wig or hairpiece long term, we recommend purchasing a maintenance package at the time of purchase to help protect your investment.
Can I bring in a hairpiece that I purchased somewhere else for maintenance or repairs?
No. Our specialized maintenance, repair and customization services are available only for products purchased from Luxury Wigs Outlet. This allows us to work with products we know, including theconstruction, materials and specifications.
Can you show me how to care for my hairpiece?
Yes. We can provide guidance on wearing and caring for your hairpiece so you feel comfortable maintaining it at home.
Does Luxury Wigs Outlet offer hair coloring or bleaching services?
No. We do not offer hair dyeing or bleaching services.
If you would like to color or bleach an eligible human hair piece, we recommend working with a licensed stylist who has experience working specifically with wigs and hairpieces.
APPOINTMENT CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS & SHOWROOM POLICIES
Can I reschedule my appointment?
Yes. We understand that plans sometimes change. Appointments may be rescheduled a maximum of two times without penalty. If an appointment is rescheduled more than two times, the original Appointment Reservation Fee will be forfeited. A new online reservation and a new Appointment Reservation Fee will then be required to schedule another appointment.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
If you need to cancel, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance whenever possible. This gives us an opportunity to make that appointment time available to another guest. Missed appointments without a call or prior notice may affect your ability to schedule or be accommodated for future appointments.

Can Luxury Wigs Outlet limit or decline future appointments?
Yes. To protect the quality of our private appointment experience, Luxury Wigs Outlet reserves the right to decline future appointments for individuals who repeatedly miss appointments, arrive excessively late, violate showroom policies, behave inappropriately or otherwise interfere with our ability to serve our clients.
Can Luxury Wigs Outlet cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Yes. Although uncommon, an appointment may need to be rescheduled or canceled because of unforeseen circumstances, safety concerns, scheduling conflicts, severe weather, equipment issues or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible regarding your appointment.
