Do I need an appointment if I just want to browse the store?

Yes — appointments are required for all visits, including browsing. If you're looking to browse or purchase without an appointment, there are many walk-in wigs shops that may better suit your needs. At Luxury Wigs Outlet, we offer a private and highly personalized experience for every guest.

What should I do before my appointment to ensure the best fitting experience?

For hygienic and safety reasons, please arrive with your hair and scalp clean and free of product buildup.
If you have a considerable amount of natural hair, please ensure it is braided, wrapped, or as flat as possible prior to your visit. This ensures the best fitting experience when trying on hairpieces and helps maintain a clean, sanitary environment for all.

Is there an appointment booking fee for first-time appointments?

Yes. A one-time $25 non-refundable fee is required to reserve your first-time appointment. This amount is credited toward any purchase, during your visit.

What if I don’t purchase anything during my visit?

That’s perfectly okay. There's absolutely no pressure to make a purchase during your appointment. We understand that choosing the right piece is a personal decision that may take time. While the $25 booking fee is non-refundable, you're welcome to schedule future appointments via phone when you're ready to continue exploring. We’re here to support you every step of the way.

What happens after booking an appointment?

Once your appointment is booked, you will receive a confirmation email—typically sent during our business hours—with all the details you need. This email serves as your official appointment notice and includes the date, time, location, and any special instructions to prepare for your visit.

 

Should I arrive earlier than my appointment time?

To maintain an exclusive and seamless experience, we kindly ask that you arrive at your scheduled appointment time. Early arrivals may not be granted access to the showroom.

We offer personalized 1-on-1 video call and phone call consultations to help you find the best solution for your hair needs — all from the comfort of your home.

Yes, you are welcome to bring one guest to accompany you during your appointment. Due to our intimate setting and limited space, we kindly request that you notify us in advance if you plan to bring a guest. This allows us to ensure a comfortable and personalized experience for both you and your companion.

Any safety precautions before my appointment?

To ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all, if you or your guest are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms such as coughing or sneezing, we kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment. Your health and the well-being of everyone are our top priorities. To maintain a safe and respectful environment, we reserve the right to decline service to any individual. Thank you for your understanding and thoughtful cooperation.

What should I do if I'm running late for my appointment?

If you're running late, please contact us as soon as possible at 1-201-917-5113. We offer a 15-minute grace period beyond your scheduled time. This provision is made with the understanding that unforeseen circumstances may occasionally delay punctual arrival. We kindly request that all guests make every effort to adhere to the scheduled appointment time, keeping in mind that the grace period is offered as a courtesy and should not be perceived as an encouragement to disregard the agreed-upon schedule. 

What happens if I’m more than 20 minutes late?

We understand that delays happen. However, if you arrive more than 20 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your visit or accommodate you at the next available time, as appointments are carefully booked to ensure quality service for every guest. Please note that late arrivals may receive only the remaining time of their original appointment.

Where can I park when I visit Luxury Wigs Outlet?

Complimentary parking is conveniently available just one block away in the municipal lot at the intersection of Hilliard Ave and River Road, located within the Whole Foods shopping plaza. For those seeking closer proximity, street parking can also be found along Dempsey Ave and near the corners of River Road and Hilliard Ave.

Can I find more wigs and hairpieces in-store than what's shown on the website?

Yes. Our in-store collection includes a wider variety of wigs, bangs, ponytails, hair toppers, hair systems, and one-piece hair extension units than what’s displayed on our website. We invite you to book an appointment to explore our full range in person, enjoy expert guidance, and experience the quality and fit of our pieces firsthand.

What is the purchasing process like?

When you’re ready to purchase, payment is fast and seamless. At Luxury Wigs Outlet, shopping is more than just buying — it’s about discovering your best self. Is it possible to try on products in a private fitting room?

Yes, we offer a private fitting room experience for a fee of $20, designed to provide you with the utmost comfort and privacy. Please note, the private fitting room fee is separate and cannot be applied toward purchases or services. Alternatively, you are welcome to try on products in our showroom at no cost. When you reserve a private fitting room, it is exclusively held for you. Should you choose to switch to the showroom during your appointment, the private fitting room fee remains applicable, as that time could have been offered to another guest.

What are the differences in coverage between wigs, hair toppers, hair systems, and one-piece hair extension units?

Wigs are full-coverage hairpieces designed to cover the entire scalp, providing a complete transformation. In contrast, hair toppers, hair systems, one-piece hair extension units are more discreet, crafted to seamlessly blend and cover specific areas of thinning or hair loss—such as the crown, sides, or back of the head—offering targeted volume and coverage.

Who are hair toppers, hair systems, and one-piece hair extension units best suited for?

These products are perfect for men, women, and teens experiencing thinning hair, bald spots, or hair loss due to alopecia or other causes. They offer a quick, low-maintenance solution to restore volume and natural coverage, ideal for everyday wear or special occasions.

Will I need to get my hairpiece professionally reapplied often?

Not at all! Our products are made for easy, do-it-yourself wear. You can apply, remove, and clean them at home with ease. We’ll provide you with step-by-step guidance so you can use your piece comfortably and confidently.

What is a one-piece hair extension unit?

Our one-piece hair extension unit features a light-weight base of beautiful hair that seamlessly blends with the wearer's hair, and provides a quick solution for those looking to achieve a fuller and or longer hairstyle without the complexity of multiple individual extensions, allowing for easy application and removal, making it a popular choice for both everyday wear and special events.​

How do I attach a hair topper, hair system, one-piece hair extension unit, or wig to my head?

Our hair toppers are quick and easy to install, simply clip-on and go! For our hair systems and one-piece hair extension units, there are various attachment methods such as clips, combs, adjustable drawstring, tapes, or adhesives. Wigs can be used with or without clips, combs, tapes, and or adhesives, depending on the base of the wig.

What is the difference between synthetic hair, 100% human hair, and human blend hair?

*Synthetic hair is made from man-made fibers such as acrylic or nylon. It’s generally more affordable and comes pre-styled, but it can’t be heat-styled on high heat setting and typically has a shorter lifespan.

*100% human hair is made from real, natural human hair. It offers the most realistic look and feel, allows for heat styling, and can last significantly longer with proper care — making it the premium choice.

*Human blend hair combines both human hair and synthetic fibers. It offers some of the styling flexibility of human hair with the affordability of synthetic, but may not last as long or look quite as natural as 100% human hair.

What is Luxury Human Blend Hair?

Luxury human blend hair incorporate a higher proportion of 100% human hair mixed with synthetic fibers, providing a premium alternative to standard human blend hair. Luxury human blend options are designed to last longer than regular human blend hair. Luxury human blend options are crafted for enhanced durability, ensuring they outlast typical human blend hair.​​

What is the price range for Luxury Wigs Outlet products?
Prices vary based on hair type, construction, and customization. Whether you're just starting your hair journey or looking for a luxurious upgrade, we’ve got options for every style and budget. Our collections are handcrafted with precision and care. Because 90% of our products are made in-house, prices may fluctuate based on the current cost of materials and supplies used to create each item. As material costs change over time, product pricing may vary with each production.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Please note that a 3.0% processing fee applies to all credit card transactions.

Yes, we provide a layaway option. A 50% deposit is required to reserve your item, with the balance due within 7 days. Deposits are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another purchase or issued as store credit.

Do Luxury Wigs Outlet accept insurance payments?

Unfortunately, we do not accept insurance. This policy encompasses all ranges of our wigs, hair toppers and hair systems. Customers are encouraged to consult with their insurance providers, as some policies allow for reimbursement upon submission of purchase receipts for medical necessity items.

Does Luxury Wigs Outlet offer any discounts/Sales?

Yes! Check out our current coupons to enjoy savings on your next purchase. We offer sales throughout the year. When sales are not active, all products are available at regular prices. During sale periods, we recommend booking an appointment early to take advantage of significant discounts.

Yes, we offer beautifully designed physical Gift Cards that make an ideal gift for any occasion. Purchase directly from our website, and we will mail the card to your specified address—please double-check your details to ensure timely delivery. Gift Cards are redeemable exclusively in-store for products and services, do not expire, and are non-refundable.

Yes, we offer a wide range of Maintenance services for your hairpiece, including adding hair, installing adjustable strap, clips, combs for security, and repairs. It's important to note that these specialized services are available solely for products that have been purchased from Luxury Wigs Outlet, as this allows us to perform based on our in-depth knowledge of our product specifications and materials.

Do Luxury Wigs Outlet offer same-day hair maintenance services?

Yes, for most adjustments such as installing straps, clips, combs, and minor repairs, we offer convenient same-day service. Drop off your hairpiece by 1 PM, and it will be ready for pickup as early as 6:45 PM. More complex repairs may take a few days to a few weeks, depending on the required repairs.

Is it possible to customize off-the-shelf products?
Absolutely! We can customize your hairpiece by adding length, volume, or other adjustments to help you achieve your ideal style. Customization services are available for an additional fee, and our team is happy to guide you through the process.

Can Luxury Wigs Outlet make a wig or hairpiece for me?

We’re grateful for the continued interest in our custom-made products over the years. Many of our valued customers have placed custom orders and continue to request more, which we truly appreciate. However, we regret to inform you that we no longer offer custom orders at this time.

Do you offer cutting, thinning, or coloring services at Luxury Wigs Outlet?
We’re happy to assist with certain customizations, but we do not offer hair dyeing or bleaching. For those services, we recommend visiting a licensed stylist who specializes in working with wigs or hairpieces. ​​

How long do Luxury Wigs Outlet products last?

The longevity of our products depends on how often they are worn and how well they are cared for. With proper maintenance and gentle handling, many of our hairpieces can last several months—and in many cases, even years.

I need to cancel my appointment. What should I do?

We understand that life can be unpredictable. While we genuinely sympathize with unforeseen changes, last-minute cancellations prevent us from offering that time to someone else in need. What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel your appointment, we kindly ask that you do so at least 24 hours in advance to allow us the opportunity to accommodate another guest.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be subject to a $50 fee to reschedule.

  • No-call / No-show appointments will incur a $100 fee to book a new appointment.
