No. Luxury Wigs Outlet is by appointment only. This allows us to provide every visitor with personalized attention and a carefully curated experience. Booking Online is quick and easy, and helps us prepare for your visit. During the booking process, you'll answer a few short questions about your desired hair color, length, type, and style preferences. This allows us to curate hairpieces in advance that closely match what you're looking for. While we may not always have the exact match, your answers help us present similar options tailored to your needs, making the most of your time with us. Due to high demand, we recommend booking early to secure your preferred day. Whether you’re exploring hair additions for the first time or coming back for more, we’re here to help you feel confident and beautiful.

Do I need an appointment if I just want to browse the store?

Yes. To ensure uninterrupted service, we operate by appointment only. Appointments are required for all visits, including browsing. In addition to shopping, we provide a wide range of in-house services such as customizing hairpieces, hairpiece spa treatments, washing, styling, repairs, and ongoing maintenance.

Is there an appointment booking fee for first-time appointments?

Yes. A one-time non-refundable $25 booking fee is required to reserve your first-time appointment. This amount is credited toward any purchase, during your visit.

What if I don’t purchase anything during my visit?

That’s perfectly okay. There is no pressure to make a purchase during your appointment. If you do not make a purchase, your booking fee will remain available to be applied toward a future purchase. We understand that choosing the right piece is a personal decision and may take time. When you’re ready to continue, you are welcome to schedule future appointments by phone without an additional booking fee. We’re here to support you every step of the way.

What should I do before my appointment to ensure the best fitting experience?

For hygienic and safety reasons, please arrive with your hair and scalp clean and free of product buildup. If you have a considerable amount of natural hair, please ensure it is braided, wrapped, or as flat as possible prior to your visit. This ensures the best fitting experience when trying on hairpieces and helps maintain a clean, sanitary environment for all.​​

What happens after booking an appointment?

Once your appointment is booked, you will receive a confirmation email, typically sent during our business hours (Monday–Saturday, 12:00 PM–7:30 PM), with all the details you need. This email serves as your official appointment confirmation and includes your appointment date, time, location, and any special instructions to help you prepare for your visit.

​Should I arrive earlier than my appointment time?

No. To maintain a seamless experience, we kindly ask that you arrive at your scheduled appointment time. Early arrivals may not be accommodated or granted access to the showroom.

 

Can I bring a guest to my appointment?

Yes. You are welcome to bring one guest to your scheduled appointment.

Are there any safety precautions before my appointment?

We kindly ask that appointments be rescheduled if you or your guest are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms such as coughing or sneezing. To support a comfortable and respectful environment for all, we reserve the right to decline service when appropriate.

What should I do if I'm running late for my appointment?

If you’re running late, please call us as soon as possible at 1-201-917-5113.

We allow a 15-minute grace period past your scheduled time. Arrivals beyond this window may need to be rescheduled or accommodate you at the next available time.

Where can I park when I visit Luxury Wigs Outlet?

We are located on River Road between Hilliard Ave and Dempsey Ave.

​Closest parking: Street parking along Dempsey Ave and River Road, same intersection as Chase Bank.

Additional parking: One block away at Hilliard Ave, near Whole Foods.

Municipal parking: Available in the Whole Foods parking lot, which serves as the local municipal free parking area.

Is it possible to try on products in a private fitting room?

Yes. We offer a private fitting room for an additional $20 (payable in showroom), providing added comfort and privacy.

You are also welcome to try on products in our showroom at no additional cost.

When you reserve a private fitting room, it is exclusively held for you. Should you choose to switch to the showroom during your appointment, the private fitting room fee remains applicable, as that time could have been offered to another guest. The private fitting room fee is separate and cannot be applied toward purchases or services.

What types of consultations are offered?

We offer personalized one-on-one consultations by video call or phone, allowing you to receive guidance from the comfort of your home.

During your consultation, you can:

  • Receive honest, expert guidance tailored to your hair needs

  • Ask questions and get clear, straightforward answers

  • Learn about care, styling, and maintenance

  • View wigs, toppers, and hairpieces during video consultations

You may choose between a video consultation or a phone consultation, based on your preference.

Yes. Our in-store collection includes a wider variety of wigs, bangs, ponytails, hair toppers, hair systems, and one-piece hair extension units than what is currently displayed online. We invite you to book an appointment to explore our full selection in person, receive expert guidance, and experience the quality and fit of our pieces firsthand.

What is the purchasing process like?

Wigs are full-coverage hairpieces designed to cover the entire scalp, providing a complete transformation. Hair toppers, hair systems, and one-piece hair extension units are more discreet, crafted to seamlessly blend and cover specific areas of thinning or hair loss, such as the crown, sides, or back of the head, offering targeted volume and coverage.

Who are hair toppers, hair systems, and one-piece hair extension units best suited for?

These products are perfect for men, women, and teens experiencing thinning hair, bald spots, or hair loss due to alopecia or other causes. They offer a quick, low-maintenance solution to restore volume and natural coverage. Perfect for everyday wear or special occasions.

Will I need to get my hairpiece professionally reapplied often?

Not at all! Our products are made for easy, do-it-yourself wear. You can apply, remove, and clean them at home with ease. We’ll provide you with step-by-step guidance so you can use your piece comfortably and confidently.

What is a one-piece hair extension unit?

A one-piece hair extension unit is a single, cohesive hairpiece made on a lightweight, breathable base, designed to seamlessly blend with your natural hair. It offers a quick and effective solution for achieving added fullness and/or length without the complexity of multiple individual extensions. This all-in-one design allows for fast, easy application and removal, making it a popular choice.

How are the hairpieces attached?

Our hairpieces are designed to be versatile and may be worn clipless or with attachments, depending on the style and base construction. Attachment options may include clipless wear, clips, combs, adjustable drawstrings, tape, or adhesive methods.

What types of 100% human hair do you carry?

Our 100% human hair selection includes European hair, Remy hair, Virgin hair, and other natural human hair options. Our selection varies by texture, density, length, and construction to suit different needs and preferences. During your appointment, we will help guide you in choosing the hair type that best aligns with your desired look, lifestyle, and maintenance goals.

​How are hair types ranked by quality?

#1. 100% Human Hair (Highest Grade)
Made from real, natural human hair, this is the highest-quality option available. It offers the most realistic look and feel, allows for full heat styling, bleaching, and coloring, and provides the greatest versatility. With proper care, can last significantly longer, making it the premium choice.

#2. Luxury Blend Hair (Closely Mimic 100% Human Hair)
Luxury Blend Hair features a higher proportion of natural human hair combined with quality synthetic fibers. It offers realism, durability, and longer wear compared to standard blend hair, closely mimicking the look and feel of 100% human hair. An excellent option for clients seeking a high-quality, light-weight, natural-looking alternative without fully committing to 100% human hair.

 

#3. Blend Hair (Mid-Grade)

Blend Hair features a lower proportion of natural human hair combined with synthetic fibers and is best suited for occasional wear rather than everyday use. Compared to 100% human hair and Luxury Blend Hair, blend hair has a shorter lifespan and does not withstand frequent wear. For this reason, we recommend blend hair for clients who need a piece for short-term use, special occasions, or infrequent wear. Blend hair cannot be dyed or bleached and should only be heat styled using low heat settings to help preserve the fibers.

#4. Synthetic Hair (Least Versatile)

Synthetic Hair is made from man-made fibers such as acrylic or nylon and is generally more affordable than other hair types.

Synthetic hair has the shortest lifespan and cannot be dyed, bleached, or heat styled, as heat may cause permanent damage to the fibers. One of the benefits of synthetic hair is its low maintenance. After washing at home, synthetic hair naturally dries and returns to its original style, eliminating the need for restyling.​

What is the price range for Luxury Wigs Outlet products?

Pricing typically ranges from $155 to $6,500, depending on hair type, construction, and level of customization. Whether you’re beginning your hair journey or seeking a luxurious upgrade, we offer hairpieces to suit a variety of needs and styles. Because the majority of our products are made in-house, pricing may fluctuate based on the current cost of materials. When materials are secured at lower costs, those savings are passed on to our clients.

What is the Signature Handcrafted Collection?

These pieces are created in limited quantities and are among our most sought-after hairpieces due to their realism and immediate availability. Each piece is ready to wear and available for immediate off-the-shelf purchase.  Our Signature Handcrafted Collection features custom crafted wigs, toppers, and hair systems made by hand and designed to offer a custom-quality look and fit with ready-to-wear convenience. Each piece is constructed with a size-flexible design, allowing for a range of head sizes.

Is it possible to customize off-the-shelf products?
Absolutely! We can customize your hairpiece to help you achieve your ideal style. Customization services are available for an additional fee, and our team is happy to guide you through the process.

Can Luxury Wigs Outlet make a wig or hairpiece for me?

At this time, we are accepting custom orders for hair systems and hair toppers only.

We are currently fully booked for custom wig orders and are not accepting new custom wig orders at this time.

Custom hair systems and toppers are available by Custom Consultation, which is required to plan and design your piece.

What forms of payment are accepted?
We accept cash, debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Apple Pay.
Please note that a 3.0% processing fee applies to all credit card transactions.

Why is valid identification required for payment transactions?

A valid government-issued identification is required for all card payment transactions. The name on the identification must match the name on the payment card presented. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

What is the return policy for Luxury Wigs Outlet?

Due to the personal and hygienic nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not offer returns or exchanges. This policy allows us to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, quality, and product integrity for every client. We encourage you to ask questions and explore your options prior to purchasing. Yes. we provide a layaway option. A 50% deposit is required to reserve your item, with the balance due within 7 business days. Deposits are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another purchase or issued as store credit.

Does Luxury Wigs Outlet accept insurance payments?

At this time, Luxury Wigs Outlet does not accept insurance payments.
Clients receive a proof of purchase receipt at checkout, which may be submitted directly to their insurance provider for potential reimbursement. 
Insurance coverage varies by provider. We recommend contacting your insurance company to confirm eligibility.

Does Luxury Wigs Outlet have sales?

Yes. We offer sales throughout the year. When sales are not active, all products are available at regular prices. During sale periods, we recommend booking an appointment to take advantage of significant discounts.

Does Luxury Wigs Outlet offer gift cards?

Yes. We offer physical Gift Cards that make an ideal gift for any occasion. Purchase in-store or directly from our website, and we will mail the card to your specified address. Please double-check your details to ensure timely delivery.

 

​Does Luxury Wigs Outlet offer maintenance services?

Yes, we offer a wide range of Maintenance services for your hairpiece, including cleaning, styling, adding or thinning hair, installing adjustable straps, clips, combs for security, and repairs. We offer convenient same-day service. Hairpieces dropped off by 1:00 PM may be ready for pickup as early as 6:45 PM. More complex repairs may require additional time and can take a few days to several weeks, depending on the type of service needed. It's important to note that these specialized services are available solely for products that have been purchased from Luxury Wigs Outlet, as this allows us to perform based on our in-depth knowledge of our product specifications and materials. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

Do Luxury Wigs Outlet offer hair coloring services?
We’re happy to assist with certain customizations, but we do not offer hair dyeing or bleaching. For those services, we recommend visiting a licensed stylist who specializes in working with hairpieces. ​​​​

How long do Luxury Wigs Outlet products last?

The longevity of our products depends on how often they are worn and how well they are cared for. With proper maintenance and gentle handling, many of our hairpieces can last several months, and in many cases, even years.

What is Luxury Wigs Outlet cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel your appointment, we kindly ask that you do so at least 24 hours in advance to allow us the opportunity to accommodate another guest.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to a $50 rescheduling fee.

No-call / no-show appointments will require a $100 fee to book a new appointment.

We appreciate your understanding, as this policy allows us to continue providing quality service to all clients.
